From Congleton take the A34 to Handforth Dean.     At the roundabout for the  Airport Eastern Link (A555) take the third exit toward Poynton.     Stay on the link road until the A6 go right (Buxton Rd),

Pass Edmonds & Co Chartered Accountants large brick building on the right. Then 7.5 Ton weight limit on left.

Then First Left on to Carr Brow (Carr Brow is more or less straight on as the A6 bends right)

Then Left in about 400 yards into Wybersley Rd carry on ahead until it becomes The Ridge, continue steeply uphill until the Ridge Quarry Viewing Point car park on the right

Approx 23 miles to start and takes 50 mins
