About trip
We first walked this on the 17th August 2018. The views from the path along the lake may disappoint and it is thickly wooded and the lake is largely concealed by the trees. It was quite muddy in parts. Orchardleigh House is striking but the surrounding land has been sacrificed to the Great God Golf
