DESCRIPTION : This walk is from Mossley, Congleton, up hill to the top of Congleton Edge; on up to Mow Cop; down to Ackers Crossing, and back down the Macclesfield Canal.

DIRECTIONS TO START OF WALK : From Congleton, go up Canal St. onto Canal Rd. until the junction with Moss Road. Turn right onto Moss Road. Just after Paddocks Green, the parking lay-by is 500yds on the right. Alternatively it’s a road that you can park on anyway.
