DESCRIPTION - Shallcross Farm – Ladder Hill – Haylee Farm – Bunsal Cob – Fernilee Reservoir – River Goyt – Shallcross Wood.
DIRECTIONS TO START OF WALK - Park in the Layby by Shallcross Wood on the A5004
Grid Ref – SK009 799.
Make your way to Whaley Bridge by your preferred route. A possible way is Congleton/Macclesfield, (Tesco Island), onto the B5470 to Rainow and Whaley Bridge . At the traffic lights in Whaley Bridge, (Horwich End), turn right onto the A5004 (Long Hill), towards Buxton. Travel for approx. 0.5 miles and park in the large layby on the right hand side of the road.
MEET AT– Astbury Mere Car Park, (Pay and Display), for a 9am start.
