19/01/2026 walk Mo and Malc : 2hr 56 minutes. Really lovely walk with no strenuous uphill sections. Gets boggy after 2.5 km and a little technical in places due to bogs and stony rocky paths. Parking in The Kirk Stile inn car park. Not sure what happens when it’s busy. There is a gentle climb after 2.5km when it also starts to get boggy which continues for majority of rest of way but is not too onerous. Path doesn’t exactly follow green line in one place near us 4km Just after left turn at 4km beautiful vista of valley open up. At 5.5km a lovely island in crunnock water. Altered map to take lower easier path.
