About trip
- Circular walk: 6.5 miles
- what3words address for parking - in Stoney Middleton. Parking is limited in the village and so the following address takes you to the middle of the village and you need to hunt for parking: ///instead.forgotten.hopeless. Car parking is available on the main road (A632) in a large lay-by close to Lovers Leap. Alternative parking is also available on the Calver side of the village, at the entrance to the playing field.
The walk starts and finishes in Stoney Middleton, passing through Eyam. Eyam is a fascinating place with a fascinating story and it is well worth lingering here to learn about it; not least because you can always find a teashop… However, it can get incredibly busy and is on the coach tour circuit. There is a car park in Eyam and you could walk from here, but if you need to park, Stoney Middleton is a safer bet.
