One time family holiday hill walker, turned caver/potholer. Then someone suggested the 24 Peaks for charity - got the bug, left the cavers, who had settled on going back into the same caves to the same limits, and started more trips on the hills in England, Wales & Scotland, often solo in the absence of available company among the cavers.
